Eona's Legacy Quest — Statues Locked Behind Webs

Several Eona's Legacy statues across Orbis are blocked by spider webs that prevent activation. The puzzle requires fire damage to remove them, then a second conversation with the quest NPC to trigger the unlock cutscene. Shadowed Woods is the first web-blocked region most players encounter.

Step 1 — Find Alvwyn

Locate Alvwyn east of the Meadows of Beginning. He explains the mystery of the web-covered statue and starts the Eona's Legacy quest line that opens Shadowed Woods. Pick up the quest from him directly; there is no board step before it.

Step 2 — Burn Away the Webs

The statue cannot be interacted with while covered. Equip a Fire Bow or use any fire-element skill or combo that deals fire damage. Attack the webs until every section has burned away — missing a patch leaves the statue partially obscured and the activation prompt does not appear. Common pitfalls: switching back to a non-fire weapon, running out of stamina mid-burn, or forgetting the underside of the statue.

Step 3 — Speak to Alvwyn Again

Once the entire statue is visible, return to Alvwyn for the post-puzzle dialogue. A short cutscene plays, then Shadowed Woods opens fully on the world map. If the cutscene does not trigger, ensure every patch of web is gone before retrying the dialogue.

Troubleshooting

• Webs will not disappear — switch to fire damage; physical attacks do nothing.
• Statue does not trigger — check every section of the webs, including the base.
• Alvwyn has no new dialogue — burn the entire statue first, then re-initiate the conversation.
• Shadowed Woods stays locked — finish the post-puzzle dialogue and let the cutscene complete before exploring.
