Story Structure Overview

DragonSword: Awakening follows Lute, a boy traveling toward Orbis — humanity's first kingdom — who joins Johnny's mercenary company alongside Castella the Elf archaeologist. Sixty years after a calamity dragon threatened the continent, a new dragon awakens. Your quest traces the legacy of six legendary heroes while recruiting companions across the Continent of Orbis.

The narrative blends mercenary daily life — lunch delivery quests, cooking, local problems — with escalating dragon threat. All 19 heroes integrate into story chapters rather than gacha banners. Companions unlock through main requests and exploration currency.
